Nestled within the lush tropical landscape of Sierra Leone, this contemporary residence is conceived as a tranquil retreat that seamlessly merges architecture, nature, and modern living. The design celebrates horizontality and openness, with expansive terraces, deep overhangs, and panoramic glazing that frame uninterrupted views of the surrounding greenery.

Organized across multiple cascading levels that follow the natural terrain, the ground floor houses the primary living areas while the first floor is dedicated to the bedrooms and private spaces. They each open onto large terraces that extend the interior outward. These elevated outdoor spaces create a seamless blend of indoor–outdoor living while ensuring comfort in the tropical climate.

The lower level is dedicated to leisure and social activities, featuring a large open terrace, an impressive pool, sun loungers, and a fully equipped outdoor dining and lounge area.

Landscaped roof elements and planted courtyards enhance privacy, improve the microclimate, and anchor the home within its lush setting.

A warm material palette of travertine marble, timber, and concrete for soft neutral finishes reinforces the residence’s connection to its environment, offering both durability and understated elegance. Together, these elements create a sophisticated yet relaxed sanctuary—an architectural expression of contemporary tropical living in Sierra Leone.
